Quit SA receives many enquiries about smoking in the workplace. Some are from employees concerned about their health when exposed to smoking at their place of work. Many others are from employers who are interested going smoke-free.
Quit SA has a great deal of experience working with workplaces. We provide a range of services and programs for workplaces that are interested in going smoke-free. They include
assistance with the development and implementation of a smoke-free policy
quit courses for smokers in the workplace
on-site staff training to help smokers quit
resources to help make going smoke-free in the workplace easier
on-going support for workers who decide to quit through the Quitline 13 7848.
